Store Manager
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
-Directs staff to ensure all responsibilities and standards in each department are completed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet store targets.
- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, preparing deposits, and reconciling cash drawers.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize shrinkage.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Implement visual merchandising standards to create an appealing store environment.
- Collaborate with the corporate office on marketing initiatives and promotions.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage store operations, inventory, and staff schedules.
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and able to accurately perform retail math calculations.
- Professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems for efficient transactions.
- Experience in team management to effectively lead and motivate a team of employees.
