Part Time Tutor

*Duties*: - Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students of various ages and skill levels - Assess students' academic needs and develop personalized learning plans - Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, projects, and homework - Teach study skills, test-taking strategies, and time management techniques - Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual learning styles of students - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians - Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' academic success - Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment Experience: - Previous experience working with children in an educational environment - Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning - Familiarity with learning technologies and educational resources - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to effectively manage a classroom or tutoring session - Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
