* Duties include: * Evaluating, planning, directing and implementing patient care using evidence-based practice * Developing an appropriate plan of care based on evaluation findings that include rehab potential and prognosis, as well as frequency and duration of follow-up care * Establishing goals in collaboration with the patient that are realistic, measurable and functional * Providing initial and ongoing patient education and/or home exercise program * Interacting with patients and families in a compassionate manner, demonstrating confidence, empathy, sensitivity and patience.
* Following clinic standards for completing all documentation, scheduling and billing * Learning and utilizing new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the company * Organizing and directing the treatment activities of physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides and students Qualifications: * DPT from accredited physical therapy school * Clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred/recent graduate; musculoskeletal/manual therapy experience/interest desirable * Licensed Physical Therapist in Louisiana * BLS certification preferred, but will be offered * Dry Needling certification is a plus! * Pilates Experience is a plus! * Manual Experience is a plus! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $75,000.
00 - $85,000.
00 per year based on 80% productivity, negotiable based on experience.
Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Health insurance ($500/month premium max) * Paid time off (80 hours starting) Healthcare setting: * Clinic * Outpatient Medical specialties: * Pilates * Dry Needling Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Lake Charles, LA 70601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: * Physical Therapy License (Required) * Dry Needling Certified * Pilates- Balanced Body, Stott, Basi, PHI, APPI (Open to train) Work Location: In person Duties: - Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans - Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques - Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and managing their conditions - Monitor and track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Experience: - Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or comparable international degree - Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist or have VISA to work - Experience working with a variety of patient populations, including athletes, seniors, and individuals with chronic conditions - Familiarity with sports coaching, personal training, dance, fitness sales, Pilates, CrossFit, or yoga is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
