Our client, a leader in the tools and equipment rental industry is hiring CDL Drivers in Sulphur, LA for immediate direct hire needs!
The CDL Driver is responsible for safely loading, securing, delivering, unloading, and picking up rental equipment to and from the customer’s job site.
The CDL Driver must stay in compliance with local, state and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
The CDL Driver will be driving a flatbed truck w/ 40’ gooseneck trailer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Loading, securing, delivering, unloading, and picking up rental equipment.
· Must have full understanding and stay in compliance with all local, state, and FMCSA regulations.
· Communicate with coworkers, and customers.
· Ensure Contract accuracy while delivering and picking up equipment.
· Forklift experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Must be able to keep a clean, safe work environment/truck.

EDUCATION
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES
· Class A CDL
· TWIC Card required.
EXPERIENCE
· 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training.
SALARY
· $24.
00 - $28.
00 per hour
EXPECTED HOURS
· 40 per week
Requirements:
• Valid CDL driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of vehicles
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
