*Position Overview:*
As a Childcare Sitter at SWLA Sitters, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the children under your care.
You will provide professional and personalized childcare services to families in the Southwest Louisiana area.
This is a contract (1099) position.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide reliable and compassionate childcare to children of all ages, including infants and those with special needs or disabilities.
* Maintain a safe and engaging environment during childcare assignments.
* Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures for the well-being of children.
* Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed during childcare assignments.
* Tailor childcare experiences to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
* Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
* Promote healthy eating habits by offering nutritious snacks and meals.
* Uphold professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy in all interactions.
* Ensure compliance with SWLA Sitters' policies, including safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum age of 17 years.
* Successful completion of a federal background check and Child Protective Services (CPS) check (REQUIRED).
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (REQUIRED).
* Possession of a valid Driver's License.
* Minimum of one year of documented childcare experience.
* Experience with children of all ages, including infants.
* Experience in caring for children with disabilities is a plus.
* Understanding that this is a PRN (as needed) position.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $11.
